vision
and objectives
Global
Trading Hub (GTH), is a world class eMarket Place providing
electronic trading services for the Latin American Food Producers.
GTH strongly believes in educating and training the agricultural
sector in the use of Internet and e-Commerce to trade their
food products on the global markets.
Based
in Panama, GTH has other offices in Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela,
and soon in Ecuador. We are training the Producers and Ag
Exporters in Latin America on the use of Internet, eCommerce,
utilizing the GTH Trading Systems, Product Marketing and
other education and training topics to help the agricultural
sector in Latin America bridge the “Digital
Divide” between the developed and emerging
countries in Latin America.

Changing
the rules of the game
Today,
one of the many issues facing the Producers in Latin America
is to find viable markets for their current and increasing
production yields. The Internet and e-Commerce provides a
new path for the Producers to reach the global markets, but
the vast majority of Producers have not had the opportunity
to enter the information age. Global Trading Hub's Educational
and Training Courses, has the ambition to build a bridge between
the Latin American agricultural industry, the information
technology and the growing world markets. We
firmly believe that the Digital Divide in Latin America can
be shorten with proper education and training, with a coordinated
Partnership, encompassing private enterprise, local government
and international organizations.
With
the GTH training program, Producers have access to the power
of the Internet and are given the opportunity to compete
with the more developed nations in selling their products
in new markets. We are not simply teaching them to use the
web, we are teaching them an innovative, efficient way of
trading their products on the global markets in a cost effective
way, saving them time and money.
