COOL

Cool stands for Country of Origin Labeling Requirements. Its a recent law in which all Companies that prepare, store, handle or distribute seafood must:

1. Declare the Country of Origin of their products.
2. Provide documents that prove the country of origin of the product. All records must be maintained for 2 years.

Although Cool only applies to seafood, in less than two years Cool will apply to all food exported to the USA. All exporters / importers must provide their customers with purchase and production records that may contain prices, quantities and other proprietary supplier information.

To maintain your records confidential, GTHub can review your records that contain the Cool required information and provide you with a "Country's Origin Declaration" that you can deliver to your customers and maintain your proprietary information confidential.
